Albie
Donnelly´s Supercharge |
 |
Albie
Donnelly´s Supercharge is probably the best European
Rhythm'n'Blues Band (B.B.King).
His fiery saxophone playing skill makes Albie
Donnelly one of the greatest names in continental
R'n'B.
Since the Liverpool native founded SUPERCHARGE
in 1974, Albie Donnelly has established the band’s
reputation with rising success. Recordings on
the prestigious Virgin Label (with Mutt Lange
as producer), No.1 in Australia, tours with QUEEN,
B.B.KING & CHUCK BERRY, TV-Shows and extended
tours across Europe and Australia are proofs to
their success.
As the front force who combines bluesy vocals
with soulful sax-licks, he has continued and developed
the tradition of greats. With its new line-up,
Supercharge has evolved from its origins as a
R'n'B show band into a leading exponent of authentic,
powerful soul, blues and swing... |
