UI Marching Band (MBUI) is a famous University
Marching band in Indonesia, which has given their
spectacular performances in various events nationally
and worldwide,such as Color of Guard Contest HB
Cup in Yogyakata, World Music Competition in Holland
and Culture Mission in France and Australia. They
also won several awards, including 2nd prize of
13th World Music Competition, Holland in 1993
and 1997. Another outstanding award is Excellent
Performance of International Youth Band Festival,
Australia in 1995. Their recent National achievements
includes- 1st prize in general division of Grand
Prix Marching Band (GPMB) XVIII, 2002, the Champion
of National Marching Band competition Hamengkubuwono
Cup 2001 in Yogyakarta. |
