Dr. Joseph Bowman
Professor of Trumpet and Chair of the Brass and Percussion Department at Mahidol University in Bangkok, Thailand

Bowman has performed with the Memphis, Phoenix, Sun Cities, Owensboro and Hot Springs Festival Orchestras among others, and has given solo performances and master classes across the United States and Europe. As a performer, he has recorded for Summit Records, D'Note, and Naxos American. An avid writer, Bowman has over thirty publications in such journals as the International Trumpet Guild, The Instrumentalist, and the NACWPI Journal. Bowman serves ITG in several other capacities. He is editor of the Youth Website and column editor of the "Ask the Teacher" column.

Now, he plays and endorses JUPITER XO 1602S Trumpet.


Sompop Puengpreeda
The famous cross-over trumpet player and pianist Instructor in Mahidol University

Sompop worked with many well-known bands such as MAI-TAI Orchestra, Thai Youth Orchestra, Charoenkrung Brass Ensemble, Chalermraj Big Band, Kasikorn Bank Big Band, Siam Kolkarn Big Band, Salaya Philharmonic Orchestra, Bangkok Symphony Orchestra and Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra. But not only playing piano and trumpet in different style, he also do arranging the music for the marching band, Big Band and Orchestra. Currently, Sompop is a trumpet player in Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra (TPO) and being the trumpet instructor at College of Music, Mahidol University.

Trombone
Philip Brink
Professional bass trombonist

Philip was a member of the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra and the New Mexico Symphony before joining the Hong Kong Philharmonic as Principal Bass Trombonist, a position he held for 12 years. Family concerns brought him back to Chicago where he was an active teacher and freelancer with area orchestras and dance bands. In Chicago, Philip played with the Chicago Sinfonietta, Chicago Philharmonic and the Chicago Symphony. In 2004 he took part in a European tour as soloist with a local group; during this tour he played the premiere of Kerry Turner's Bass Trombone Concerto, which was written for him. Philip Brink is bass trombonist with the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra. Additionally he was recently appointed, along with the other members of the Mahidol College of Music Faculty Brass Quintet, to represent the Jupiter Musical Instrument Company's brass instruments in Thailand.

Others
The Admire Brass Ensemble
Formed in July 2005 by the Assumption Convent School and Mahidol College of Music. It is the first all-girl band in Thailand.
The members are: Pimol Nimithyoungsakul, Wararat Purisodom and Pamornpan Komolpamorn on trumpet; Vassinee Dejsakulkai on French horn; Kanok-orn Pithakorn on trombone; Petcharat Tultitanun on euphonium/bass trombone; and Duangkamol Veerasatian on tuba.
