JUPITER Adopts New EZ Model Headjoint for Student Flutes

April 1st, 2009 —JUPITER Flutes have established a strong reputation and many teachers and band directors are recommending JUPITER Flutes to their students.    From research we knew that most Flute beginners face difficulties in playing lower/higher registers. This requires a headjoint that is both free blowing and has quick response. The new EZ model headjoint is designed purely with the beginner in mind.

The JUPITER EZ model headjoint features a square embouchure hole with an upper cut which allows more air into the headjoint. The uniquely designed upper cut provides a very easy and free blowing feel so beginners can play without any strenuous blowing.

The EZ model headjoint also has a consistent conical-tapered tube which results in less resistance and smoother air flow so players can play in tune easily. The new headjoint also gives highly responsive sound which is more easily projected.
JUPITER 511 series student flutes are now equipped with EZ model headjoints. This kind of innovative design and reliable quality provides students with a great start to learn music.
