JUPITER endeavors to invite more and more professional players into JUPITER family. JUPITER artists have passion in spreading music and joy to all audiences. It is our goal to help JUPITER players enjoy the music and furthermore share their music with fellow musicians and audiences. Now we are excited to support the world’s best kids band play JUPITER and spread their joyful music to all.

Swing Kids
Dai Kimoto & Swing Kids – the name stands for joyous and soulful music-making. The fourteen kids, aged from nine to sixteen years and coming from the region of Lake Constance and the Rhine Valley, play Jazz and Big Band tunes with a stunning mastery. During their concert tours in Japan and the United States where they were performing as guests at the world-famous Glenn Miller Festival in Boston, the Swing Kids have captivated their audiences with their interpretations of 1930’s swing music. From all over the world – from Tokyo, New York, Paris, London, Copenhagen, Barcelona, Buenos Aires and Sydney - they get enthusiastic letters from fans. Their performances at some of the greatest music events, such as the Montreux Jazz Festival, will be remembered as among their finest achievements. This year again, the band will appear at the world’s biggest music tradeshow in Frankfurt in March. Besides their regular appearances on Swiss TV shows, they have also successfully taken part in numerous important music contests.

Wonderful sound, expressive interpretation, rhythmic precision, joy and enthusiasm are best to describe their concerts. Since this year, the band has been supported by Jupiter from Taiwan, one of the biggest manufacturers of wind-instruments. “Swing Kids represent our most important target group, the young and dedicated wind-players who want their instruments to meet their high standard. And what is still more important: they get kids of the same age to make music and play a wind-instrument – because it is fun!”

Dai Kimoto – Bandmaster
Dai Kimoto was born and raised in Japan. When he was 18 years old, he started his professional career as trumpet player in a big band from his home Okayama. And just two years later, he joined the official TV orchestra in Tokyo. In his mid-twenties, he decided to go to Europe where he was member of some of the best big bands: Tony Evans Orchestra in London, Max Greger Munich, DRS Big Band in Switzerland and Michel Legrand in Paris. Education and motivation of young musicians are however his big love and absolute forte. With his band, the Swing Kids, he fascinates and delights both young and old, and, above all, he motivates young people to make music – because: Music makes you smart!
