JUPITER is proud to help sponsor the new Wind Cup competition held by Touch Music in Germany. Open to junior high school bands with players between 13-19, all participating bands are required to prepare a demo tape with three required songs and one optional song.

After keen competition, first place was awarded to Bigband Brühl. The band went on an exciting 6-day, expense-paid trip to China. While in Beijing, the students visited famous sites, gave two open performances, and toured the JUPITER factories.

The second place band, Bigband der Musikschule, Tuttlingen, won JUPITER instruments worth 20,000 Euro. The third place band, Vocal Brass Bigband, Bad Königshofen i. Gr., received 10,000 Euro worth of JUPITER instruments. These three top-placing bands will co-record a CD and will be on stage at the 2006 Frankfurt Messe.
