Jupiter was a participant at the 2006 International Tuba Fest which was held in Fredericton, New Brunswick May 12-14. This event is organized by the University of New Brunswick and is well attended by students, amateurs, and pros alike. On hand was Jupiter Canada dealer The Musicstop along with Jupiter tuba models for the instrument display portion. The Jupiter tubas were well received by conference delegates many having seen the 778L and 582L for the first time and rating them favorably against competing brands. Jupiter Canada plans a bigger presence in 2007 and will have some low brass clinicians present at next years’ event. Below is an excerpt of an email from the festival organizers;

“I would like to thank you for your continued support of the Fredericton International Tuba Fest. It was a great success. All participants seemed to be enjoying themselves and learning. We had musicians from Maine, New Hampshire, PEI, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, and New Brunswick. There was quite a cross section of people. The age range was from 13 to 70. Musicians who were totally self taught to students studying tuba at the University level.

From one of the adults:

"What a super experience! I had a thoroughly enjoyable time. It was just great fun!!! The opportunity to interact with Larry and John was a personal pleasure and a great learning experience.

The Tuba Fest is a gem of an experience. Please keep me on the mailing/e-mailing list!!"
