Instrument Co., Ltd. And in December 2005, people
from around the world will be gathering to celebrate
the 75th Anniversary.
75 years ago, in 1930, Mr. Tsu-Cheng Hsieh established
KHS in Kaoshiung, Taiwan. The letters KHS stand
for Kung Hsue She, meaning "a company contributing
to schools and culture." Over the years,
KHS has grown from a small store to one of the
leader in the music industry with distribution
facilities, factories, major holdings and corporate
partners in North America, Asia and Europe.
This anniversary event not only commemorates the
achievements of the past 75 years, but also presents
an opportunity for KHS to reaffirm its commitment
to "contributing to schools and culture"
for the next 75 years and beyond. The gathering
will be attended by members of the KHS family,
music educators, customers, share holders and
business partners.
The KHS anniversary and inauguration celebration
will be held on December 8, 2005 at the new KHS
building in Taipei, located nearby the current
