Atarah Ben-Tovim MBE is a Flute diva, educator extraordinaire and a passionate advocate of live orchestral music. She has worked to over three million children live in her unique and unparalleled children’s concerts, both with her Band and now with orchestras. Her best-selling book, The Right Instrument for your Child, has been seeing its new fourth edition in 2006 and translations in sixteen languages. Atarah Ben-Tovim was made an M.B.E. (1980) - for services to children's music. She has an Honorary Doctorate of Music from the Council for National Academic Awards (1991). She was a child prodigy on the flute. |
